Recently I was cleaning out my wallet and found a worn down index card from 2014. It had been a couple of months since I laid eyes on this card, maybe even a year. I created the card at an informative workshop I attended in 2014. One of the speakers at the event stated that each year she creates a new index card, which includes new goals and aspirations; at the end of each year she finds that many of these goals have been accomplished. So I said, hey let me give this a try. The card listed three affirmations that I cited daily (morning, noon & night) in 2014 and early 2015. My daily affirmations. I was shocked to find that two out of three of these affirmations had actually come into fruition. I hadn’t realized that the affirmations I had begun calling into demand in 2014 had really come to pass in 2015. I was shocked! The difference a year can make right?

  1. I AM A BUSINESS OWNER

God has a funny way of ensuring our desires line up to His will for our lives. He also has a funny way of making us believe we came up with the ideas ourselves. Prior to 2014, I didn’t desire to be a business owner and after this tax season I realized that wasn’t such a bad thing. But seriously it was never one of my goals to ever be a business owner.  On April 7, 2015 I Am LIGHT, LLC was established.

  1. I AM A SECOND BOOK AUTHOR

It was not in my plans to write my second book in 2015 but God’s plans always supersedes our own. In early 2015, God spoke that I would write my second book last year and it would be released in the same year. I honestly freaked out when He said, I asked Him how and what exactly I was supposed to write about because I truly had no idea. As many of you know, I released Forbidden Truth 2: Life after Death on December 25, 2015.

The third affirmation has yet to be checked off my life’s to do list but I am still working on that goal in 2016 (pray for me). Ill share when it is done!

Proverbs 18:21a states, Death and life are in the power of the tongue…

For the month of April I want us to SPEAK LIFE! I want you to command blessings over your life by affirming your goals, hopes and dreams in affirmations. Make of list of daily affirmations you will recite morning, noon, and night. Don’t give up if you don’t see instant results. Remember the difference a year can make? In a year’s time don’t forget to report to us what blessings you have seen come to pass. Focus on your dreams, desires, goals and weaknesses. When I say weakness what do I mean? If you suffer from low self-esteem, look at yourself in the mirror every day and state “I am beautiful” or “I am worthy to be loved”. Really put some thought and effort into your list. Remember these are the blessings you are speaking over your life and bringing into command!

All April we will be commanding our blessings! Prayerfully you will continue beyond April and this becomes a year’s practice! Okay let’s go!

Until next time

I wish you…

Love, Happiness and an Abundance of Blessings
