January 1, 2018

Long time, no talk! I’ve missed connecting with you. I hope you’ve missed our chats, too. Can you believe that another year has come and gone? The last time we chatted, we talked about the Blue Print for the spiritual foundation of our lives. I know it’s hard to forge new habits but I know you’re strong willed and determined to be the best version of yourself, so I believe you’ve developed some new & positive habits in your spiritual walk. Just in case you want to refresh yourself in that area. Here you go: bit.ly/2EsRPWr

If you’re reading this, that means you’ve made it through another year! Can we take a moment to thank God together? That in itself is a blessing and much to be thankful for. There are many who did not get to see 2018. I want to also congratulate you on any advances, progress, self-improvement, goal smashing, new love, family additions and/or accomplishments (big or small) that made up your 2017.

For some, 2017 may not have been such a great year for you, I’ve had my share of tough years. Like many, you may have fought some battles and endured a season or two of hardships. I pray moving forward that you focus on the lessons that those hardships have taught you and the growth that was instilled in you along the way. I also want to congratulate you for making it through! Really take a minute to reflect on all that you’ve overcome over the past year; the times you thought you wouldn’t make it through and for the tears you may have cried. We don’t call ourselves overcomers for no reason! Seriously, clap for yourself! The tough moments of 2017 didn’t break you! They only brought you one step further in the destiny God has laid out for you.

2017, was truly a year of growth for me. I learned so many things about myself (strength and weakness) and I learned so much more about who God is. In 2017, I learned, to trust God a WHOLE lot more; to forgive, the true definition forgiveness and how to put that into practice; I learned to fold and wait for God to give me play by play victorious game plans (wait to you hear that one); I learned to be spiritual but also practical (a skill a lot of Christians are lacking); I learned to set pride aside in order to maintain and restore valuable relationships; and I even fell in love with the idea of falling in love again. We’ll talk about all of that as the year goes on!

Oh yeah! I released my third book! Consecrate Yourselves: A Single Woman’s Journey Through a One Year Man-Fast (I almost forgot about that). I’ll chat more about that later but in the meantime you can check that out here: amzn.to/2EvmrXw

I even finished my 2017 goal of reading the entire Bible, front to back, all 66 books! No easy feat! Can we take a moment to clap for my two major accomplishments?

In 2018, and moving forward, I’ve decided to clap for myself more and give myself more credit! I don’t do that enough. I accomplish a goal and I’m on to the next. So no more of that. I’m so hard on myself too. Pray for me? And I’ll be sure to pray for you.

I can’t wait to share with you all the lessons I’ve learned in 2017. We have so much catching up to do.

Before we say goodbye for today, I really wanted for us to say a prayer over our 2018. I want us to speak some blessings over our 2018 and call some things into alignment. Is that cool? I hope that you will take the time to pray this prayer over yourself.

Let’s talk soon?!

2018 Prayer

Lord thank you for bringing me into another year. For keeping me and my entire family. Thank you for covering us, loving us and providing for us over the course of an entire year. Lord, thank you for simply being you and being true to who Your Word says you are. Lord, there were many who you called home in 2017, so thank you for allowing me to see another day and another year. I don’t take that gift lightly. I know each day and each breathe is a gift of love from You to me.

Lord, I know that you have kept me here because you still have more work for me to do. You have a plan and a purpose for my life that I have only partially completed. Lord, please guide me on my journey over the next 365 days and reveal what it is you would like me to achieve. Reveal your plans and purposes for my life and especially for this year. Call into alignment the resources you have set in place for me and everyone connected to me. Align and prepare me for the opportunities you desire for me to take hold of. Reveal to me and align me with the people you wish for me to be in relationship with on all levels.

Strengthen my spiritual ears to hear your voice God and to be in tune with the whispers of the Spirit. Strengthen my spiritual eyes to see your powerful and moving hand over my life. Strengthen my spiritual eyes, so that I see the enemy’s schemes and tactics before they even have a chance to take root.

I bind up every demonic force that wishes to deter me from my path of destiny. I cancel out every demonic tactic that wishes to deter me off my path of righteousness. Devil I command you to flee and take your hand off my life! I command you to take your hand off every one of my family members’ lives. I command you to take your hand off the life and destiny of my husband, children and every unborn child! In the name of Jesus! I have already won the victory through Christ!

I call down every blessing that has my name on it for 2018. I cancel out every curse spoken over my life, my destiny, my dreams. I will be blessed. I will be successful. In Jesus name!

2018 will be the year of my blessings, I will see an enormous shift in every area of my life; financial, spiritual, emotional, physical and professional, by the time the ball drop’s December 31, 2018. This is just the beginning of a new dimension of my life.

God I praise You and I honor You. You are worthy of all the honor and all the praise.

In Jesus Christ’s Holy name, I pray.

Amen! Amen! Amen!

It is done!

xoxo
