May is here and guess what?!
MAY IS MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!!

May 17th to be exact 🙂

I am so BIG on birthdays! My entire family is. That’s a family tradition that I will pass on to my family.  Since as far back as I can remember birthdays in my home were celebrated with the family surrounding you, parties, clowns and of course cake and ice cream. I remember for many years, each year my mother would buy me a strawberry short cake, in addition to my traditional birthday cake. Birthdays are supposed to be celebrated BIG! Dinners, events, gifts or my favorite, TRIPS with the people you love! I mean it’s the anniversary of the day you were born. What is there NOT to celebrate?

Oh, you have a present for me? How sweet of YOU! Please forward all gifts to P.O. Box 517 ITS MY BIRTHDAAAAAY lol.

Okay, seriously I have a gift for you. I know, I know, how sweet of me? To give gifts out during MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!

During the month of May I will be sharing excerpts from my best-selling book (Proverbs 18:21), Forbidden Truth 2: Life after Death!! I hope that it blesses you and what greater gift is there than that. See your FIRST gift below!!

‘Bound’
(pages 57 – 61)Life Principle #5 : DO THE WORK

“Satan’s sole purpose is to deceive, kill, steal, and destroy. He is the Father of lies, a murderer, deceptive, conniving, sly, and cunning; he is all things evil and all things evil spring up out of him. He was banned from heaven, so his goal is to coerce us into forfeiting the treasure awaiting each of us. His ultimate goal is for us to spend eternal life in the same damnation he will be confined to in order to hinder the growth of the Kingdom of God.
How does he do this?
Let me first say, Satan is no dummy. We underestimate the ways of the enemy. Another of his weapons of mass destruction is bondage: bondage to our sins, bondage to our pasts, bondage to our pain, and bondage to the faulty thought systems we have adopted through the course of his manipulations.
If you want to be delivered from the bondage of old relationships, unhealthy connections, the pain from your past, character flaws, insecurities, promiscuity, addictions, and the list goes on, you have to DO THE WORK! You have to do the work to be set free, truly released, from bondage and from under the control of the enemy. Soul ties and strongholds are real and present in our lives, and hard to break free from.
Impossible? No, but hard.
The faulty thought systems we have adopted as a result of the enemy’s manipulations takes work to rewire. It can be a painful process, but you have to do the real work. One can say day in and day out that they want to do the will of God in their lives, but their flesh will wage war because as Romans 7:14-25 begins: “So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin.”
God will not release you into your destiny until the time is right. There is an appointed time for everything and for every blessing there is a prerequisite and preparation. Breaking free from bondage and strongholds are a part of the preparation process. God wants to heal something deep inside of each of us, something in our core, but we have to surrender to Him for Him to do that work.
John 5:6 says, Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” Jesus was asking the man if he wanted to be well, whole, set free from the physical and spiritual ailment keeping him limited and bound. The revelation for me was in the question. If the man was there in the place where Jesus was performing miracles and healings, isn’t it clear that he wanted to be healed? Can one go to church week after week and not truly seek God, never truly develop a relationship with Christ? So why did Jesus ask him the question?
You can seek God and be in His very presence, and still be bound. Some people play church well. The determining factor in your deliverance is whether you really want to be well (healed, released, set free) and are willing to DO THE WORK to make changes in your life. The choice is yours…….”

I hope you enjoyed that. To continue reading, check out Forbidden Truth 2: Life After Death. To close I want to say that at the end of the day, the way our lives are and what we experience in life is based on the CHOICES we make. Whether it is a struggle with sin, unhealthy relationships or stagnation in life. So many people say they want a deep and intimate relationship with God but don’t want to sacrifice to experience Him or that level of intimacy with Him. It all comes down to what are you willing to sacrifice. When I read the bible, a common thread I see when Jesus performed miracles is there was ALWAYS something the person had to do to receive the miracle. An act before the miracle. The blind man had to go to the river and wash the mud off his face. The lame man had to pick up his bed and WALK. What has God called you to do that you made the choice not to do? If you can’t think of anything, just pick up your bible. You will find instructions there. Until you make that choice to pursue the life you want, the healing you want; you will continue to feel the way you feel today. The way you really feel in your heart, when you lay down at night; the way you feel behind the smile many plaster on day to day. A lot of people do not truly experience the blessings of God in their lives because they don’t surrender all to Him. Be one of the people who surrenders ALL to Him. Choose LIFE. Choose YOURSELF.

Forbidden Truth 2: Life After Death is a work that highlights the lessons in Christ I have learned over the past two years. It also includes 23 life principles critical to our success as individuals (i.e know your worth, trust God, and trust the timing of your life).

The collection includes poetry on each topic; and addresses depression, heartbreak, marriage desires, troublesome friendships, abandonment residue, uncertainty in romantic relationships, daddy pains, unforgiveness, trust issues, hopelessness, low self esteem, so forth.

Share with your family and friends. For men, it briefly addresses what a man of God looks like.
